Grandfather Yusef Bamya

Taken in 1940, this black-and-white photograph shows Samya Bamya's grandfather Yusef Bamya who was born in 1907 in Jaffa and was a merchant until he was deported after the 1948 Nakba to Beirut and then to Gaza.
