Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Wednesday 15 August 1945, where he mentioned the surrender of Japan during the war, he also documented the joy the English soldiers felt after the war seized, and spoke of their cheers "Few Nights and Few Days" which they took of the Egyptians.
