Handwritten, this letter is by Hisham Halawani at Kfar Yuna Prison to his wife Waela at as-Sowana Neighbourhood in Jerusalem on 29 September 1976, where he wrote to her apologizing for his delay in writing letters, due to the difficulty of adapting to prison life, expressed his sadness at not being able to see her on Eid, expressed his great longing for her and their son Helmi, and about his latest news, as he is reading Marxist books these days, he also wrote About prison life, and the deadly routine that can be summed up in the period of food and leisure, and he expressed that the days pass by him without difference, contemplating clearly these days, in the second page, he wrote about the expected court date, which is on 21 October 1976, in the Military Court of Lod, and in the end, he asked her to take care of their son Helmi, and not to hesitate to ask for money from his father and brothers, for it is her right, and at the bottom of the letter, he added a note that he needed a sum of money of 100 pounds urgently.
